CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR
VetFed Resources, Inc., a rapidly growing, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) located in Alexandria, VA has an immediate opening for an experienced Federal Government Contracts Administrator.
Job Description
This is a professional position reporting directly to the Company’s Chief Operating Office. The Contracts Administrator is
responsible for all day-to-day contracts and subcontracts administration duties and supporting proposal pricing efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and analyzing RFP’s/Solicitations for contract requirements, proposal instructions, pricing terms and risk assessment
- Preparing price proposals, particularly at the task order level
- Reviewing contracts for terms and conditions and ensuring reporting and compliance
requirements are met throughout the contract life-cycle - Assisting management in proposal and contracts negotiations
- Drafting and reviewing NDAs and Teaming Agreements
- Performing ALL contract administration duties and requirements, including drafting, negotiating and administering task orders and subcontracts
- Managing all contracts files, both electronic and paper
- Maintaining strong and respectful business relationships with government clients, business partners, and internal peers and management
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 4-year degree, preferably in business, plus 3-5 years work experience. Experience may be substituted for education
at the Company’s election - US Citizenship
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills; Excel expertise a must
- Demonstrated knowledge of Government Regulations (FAR, DFAR)
- Experience administering various contract types (T&M, FFP) and familiarity with various Government contract vehicles (IDIQs, Schedules)
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines
- Solid communication skills
- Sound business judgment
- Personal integrity
